There's a lot to love about living in Winnipeg in the fall. Here are our favourite things to see and activities to enjoy around town in this magical season.
Get lost in A Maze in Corn
It doesn't get much more seasonal than visiting a corn maze in the fall! A Maze in Corn is located only 10 minute drive outside of Winnipeg and features a lot more than just a cornfield of mystery -- there's also a pumpkin barn, petting zoo, hayrides, a hay bale pyramid, a haunted forest, and zip lining! Bring friends and snacks.
Dig into a Goose Flight Feast
FortWhyte Alive is a fabulous place to visit any time of year, but it's pretty exceptional in the fall. Visit its Buffalo Stone Cafe for a Goose Flight Feast this autumn -- a three-course farm-to-table dinner with a stunning view of migrating birds over FortWhyte Alive's waters!
Catch fall at The Forks
Take in a magnificent view of Winnipeg's changing fall colours from the top of the 6-storey observation tower at The Forks. You can get a great view of the city here. While you're there, visit The Forks market for a taste of fall at its famous food hall and see what's in bloom in the Prairie Garden.
Taste the city's best burgers
Le Burger Week is an annual Winnipeg restaurant competition which sees local establishments vying for the chance for their unique offering to be named the city's best burger. This delicious event is well worth your participation this fall. Your taste buds will thank you.
Enjoy ManyFest and take a bite out of Food Truck Wars
ManyFest is a fun, free, fall festival which features live music, a beer garden, artisan market, carnival rides and more! It's also the home of Food Truck Wars, an event where you can try food from 30 amazing food trucks and vote for your favourite!
There's so much to love about Winnipeg in the fall. We hope you check out some or all of these activities and destinations!
